A One of a Kind Collaboration

The event brought together aspiring filmmakers for an intensive crash course designed to teach real-time filmmaking skills. From concept to creation, participants gained hands-on experience and essential industry insights to kick-start their filmmaking journeys.

The workshop served as a platform for creative growth, with select participants now being considered for nomination on the official Sony Alpha Universe website โ€” a major step toward professional recognition in the filmmaking community.

Prerequisite for Participants

All participants must come prepared with a concept for a short film, documentary, or hybrid project. These ideas will be refined during the workshop and may be selected for the 3-month production phase. Participants may join as pre-formed teams or be grouped into teams during the workshop. Master trainer alongside mentors will help evaluate and refine submitted ideas, and will also present a few curated concepts for those who need inspiration or wish to collaborate.
